Braman Client Patrick Tsang wins FREE 3-day Skip Barber Race Course

Patrick Tsang experienced the "serious fun" of the most prestigious racing school in the world; Skip Barber, at a weekend sponsored by Braman Motorcars. Patrick won the 3-day, $3,700 event ticket from a Braman e-blast raffle. Yes, it pays to be on our mailing list!

Each day began with a short classroom "chalk talk," then it was on the race track at the famous Sebring race track. 



"The sessions were very well organized and perfect for a novice or racers working towards a professional career. " stated Patrick. "Lessons learned in class and on the track included braking, apex, down shifting, race starts and car dynamics were invaluable." he continued.

Braman Events representatives have been in talks with the prestigious race school for some time in conjunction with partnerships at the all new Palm Beach International Raceway  in Jupiter to provide it's clients the best track experiences available anywhere on the planet from an automotive dealership.



"We started out with an average of 3,500 rpm on the formula cars on day one and ended with 5,000 rpm average and unlimited rpm on straight away hitting 100 mph on Day 3." Patrick reported. 
 
"We must have covered heart pumping 80 miles on the track in three days.  It was a thrilling experience.  Braman really sets itself apart by hosting and sponsoring customers on great autocross and driving school events.  I canʼt wait for the next Braman autocross event." concluded Patrick.

     New ownership and total renovation of Moroso Motorsports Park

Jupiter, Florida: Following a total renovation, a new Palm Beach International Raceway has emerged. This striking transformation is now well under way, and the completion of an all-new road course, currently awaiting FIA approval, has transformed the look and feel of the facility.

The new owners are also proud to announce their Wayne McMurtry-designed all-concrete drag strip with excellent run-off and safety facilities. As the track meets the latest safety standards in all forms of drag racing, it can accommodate one-eighth mile, Junior Dragster, quarter-mile Sportsman and Pro classes if and when the sanctioning bodies and teams wish to return to this new facility.

Testing dates for drag strip and road course will be announced next week.

Great Rates - Extended Warranties - Service fuel sales


     You just can*t beat the low interest rates and great warranties on Braman*s beautifully maintained pre-owned Porsches, Audis and BMWs. The economy might be sluggish, but sales of certified pre-owned Porsches, Audis and BMWS are moving along at record speed.
     Take BMWs, for example. In June, BMW Group USA reported 7,909 vehicles sold, compared to 7,540 vehicles sold last June * an increase of 4.5 percent. Year-to-date sales are up 22.7 percent, with 51,986 vehicles sold. Audis are in demand, too. During June, Audi sales of certified pre-owned vehicles rose 23.6 percent, and for the first half of 2008, Audi sold 18,241 cars * a 41.7 percent increase compared to the same period a year ago.
     The same goes for Porsches. Nationally, June was an excellent month * 8.3 percent more Porsches sold than had been forecast. That brought the year-to-date number to 6,972, a 16 percent increase compared to sales last year. But demand is surpassing supply. At the end of June, Porsche stock was at a record low of 425 cars.
     These hot sales all boil down to this: Braman Motorcars is searching for pre-owned luxury cars with a good service history and is asking customers to trade in their cars. In addition, Braman is looking to the public at large for additional cars. *People are recognizing the value of our pre-owned luxury cars,* says Stephen Grossman, director of sales at Braman. *The pre-owned luxury market is a big part of our business.*
     Here*s why. *People are finding that the cost of depreciation and maintenance to drive these cars per mile is a lot less than a new car would be, in many cases,* Grossman explains. Also, manufacturers are supporting certified pre-owned programs with aggressive rates on leasing and financing. *That allows people who might normally buy a new Toyota, Nissan or Honda to buy a luxury pre-owned Audi, BMW or Porsche for the same * or less * amount of money,* Grossman notes.
     Long-term interest rates for cars can be found for as low as .09 percent, adds Wayne Resnick, general sales manager of Braman MW Luxury Pre-owned Cars. That attracted Victoria Vitalie of Palm Beach Gardens. She recently bought a BMW 528i demo. *I got a great deal on it,* she says. *I was able to get .9 percent financing. I am in love with this car. It*s a great combination of luxury, sport and power.*
     Here*s another plus for pre-owned: *BMW offers a great warranty program: six-years or 100,000 miles on its certified pre-owned cars,* Resnick says. *That*s several years longer than warranties for new cars, and people are taking advantage of that.*
     Both Grossman and Resnick note another trend. People who are turning in leases are choosing to buy pre-owned luxury cars.
     Take, for example, Russell Marshall, vice president of Metals Unlimited in Orlando and part owner of Universal Industries in Boynton Beach. He turned in his leased 2005 BMW 325i for a pre-owned 2008 BMW 528i.
     He always has loved the car, he says, and, with his lease up, decided he wanted to own his dream car. *The BMW is a high-performance, good driving car * I have to drive a lot for my business, and I needed to go ahead and buy.*
     His new car is roomier, too, he adds. One of these days, he*ll likely either trade his 2008 model or buy a second BMW, an M3. *That one raises the hair on your back!* he explains.
     According to Sales Director Grossman, *The demand for pre-owned cars far exceeds the supply. This is a great time to trade your car for a new one, then trade up in a year or two to take advantage of today*s inexpensive finance rates.*
     *We at Braman are actively pursuing service customers and customers in our own database to buy and to trade in cars in our luxury pre-owned lot to satisfy the needs of our clients.
     *Our new lot will typically inventory 150 to 200 of the nicest certified pre-owned BMWs and other luxury makes anywhere in South Florida,* Grossman says.
